hi i'm kate,
i was raised in the mountains of vermont, which i like to preface with because they are that much a part of me. this place in the world continually inspires my deep love for the planet and farm fresh ANYTHING. IT'S SPECIAL HERE.
my second fun fact is that traveling is my love language. i love
reflection of coming home to a mind, body, soul, and business that exists in peace, with beautY and room to grow. an homage to the mantra "om" which grounds us in our mindfulness practices.
this is a refresh, a time to slow and intentionally carve out your future. to Get you even more excited about what you’re doing by creating an online home for it. we'll do it together.
taking my feet to new places, giving my eyes new inspiration, and my body new experiences. there's ALWAYS been two deep inner knowings: 1) i'm HERE TO MAKE LIFE A WORK OF ART, and 2) i'm not meant to surrender to the norm (none of us are!) which tracks. as long as i've known myself, i've been in constant pursuit of beating to my own drum.

i find that our greatest gifts are often on the other side of unexpected events, for us, our businesses are stories of rising to the occasion, filling shadows with light, reminiscent of the Japanese art form, "Kintsugi": MENDING broken pottery WITH gold, making AN object even more beautiful than before.

all my designs embody communication through imagery, color psychology, font, messaging, foresight, and intuitive design. These roots and visual communication are the foundation of Ohme.
One of my earliest memories is knowing that I'm meant to be an artist for a living. At the time, this realization was inspired by the works of O'keefe and Van Gogh in my first grade art room. While my medium has changed, my mission still remains the same: making everything around me beautiful from the inside out; INHERENTLY PURPOSEFUL.
